Defibrillator - We recently discovered that our village defibrillator has reached the end of its life and sadly can’t be repaired. It was generously donated by a resident in 2015, and with an expected lifespan of 8-10 years, it’s certainly served us well. Our fundraising target is £1000.
As a Parish Council, we feel strongly that having a working defib in the village is absolutely essential. That’s why we’ve already gone ahead and purchased a replacement - it is already fitted and working at The Parish Room.
A working defibrillator could save the life of a neighbour, friend or family member. So now we’re asking our community to come together and help us raise the funds to cover the cost.
Our fundraising target is £1000, and if we’re fortunate enough to raise more than we need, any extra will stay in the Balne Defibrillator Fund and cover replacement pads and future upkeep.
Thank you for helping keep our village safe - your support could save a life ❤️
